Y aquí vemos como queda la boquilla, con la silicona que tapa para que no se metan impurezas en la válvula y el globo.

En definitiva, las mejoras introducidas en el Medic Valve son los dos trozos de silicona que protegen de impurezas a la hora de inhalar, uno protege para que no se metan impurezas en la válvula y la bolsa, que es el trozo que vemos en el exterior y que hay que engancharlo al plástico naranja para que funcione bien. Y el otro trozo de silicona protege en el recorrido del aire cuando inhalas por si alguna impureza hubiera pasado el primer filtro, y sobretodo está diseñado para que nadie pueda soplar dentro del globo y se metan bacterias, virus o impurezas dentro del globo. Como consecuencia de esto, la inhalación debe ser un poco más fuerte que con las otras válvulas (Easy y Solid valve), lo que para algunos enfermos dificulta su uso.
Un inconveniente que veo es que hay que estar enganchando la silicona al plástico naranja después de que rellenes cada bolsa y atento de que no se separe mientras inhalas de la bolsa, porque no es difícil que se separe. El otro inconveniente es que hay que hacer más fuerza en la inhalación. Personalmente el trozo de silicona en el interior de la boquilla lo cambiaba por otro tipo de filtro, que filtre impurezas pero no obstaculice tanto el paso del aire, un filtro de laboratorio podría ser una solución a ese problema. Aunque si su función fundamental es no meter aire dentro de la bolsa en vez de filtrar si cumple su cometido y está perfectamente diseñado para eso.
