Añado otra revisión que he encontradoIntroductionThe Vapormax V is the 5th iteration on the Vapormax line of products by a company called Smiss. Heard of'em? You probably have, even if you think you haven't. Smiss is the Chinese manufacturer behind the many dry herb vaporizer pens. Yes, many pens that everyone (big and small) license for their own brands and companies. In other words, they know what they're doing.
The Latest EvolutionWhile the original Vapormax was humble in its intentions, the Vapormax V (under their new brandname, FlowerMate) is the culmination of what Smiss has learned from customers, competitors, and their own ongoing research. Here are the big improvements:
1. Truly vaporizes herbs with the simple press of a button
2. Easy maintenance and cleaning
3. Very long battery life
Real vapor. Real fast.So the biggest benefit is, without question, the ability to truly vaporize herbs. Good-bye glass screens. We won't miss them, and neither will you. Like the Pax and DaVinci, the FlowerMate Vapormax does NOT require ANY accessories to get your vaping experience off the ground. And unlike those devices, it's more affordable and easier to maintain.
Here's how simpe it is:1. Turn the device on
2. Place herbs inside oven-style heating chamber
3. Wait less than a minute
4. Start vaping.
No glass screens. No holding down a power button. Nothing unnecessary. This is what was promised to consumers when the term "dry herb vaporizer" started floating around, and finally more companies are making good on that claim.
Good Clean FunUnlike some other devices, the Vapormax-V is fairly easy to clean. For the most part, you just need to dump your herbs or tobacco out after use. The filter is protected by a metal screen, so simply brushing that off will take care of any potential clogging. Sometimes you may need to unscrew it from the mouthpiece, but usually a q-tip works fine. To clean out the inside of the chamber, you can also use a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol--but it doesn't really get too messy in there.
Also worth pointing out is how little odor the device produces. While using the device right next to one of my friends, he kept exclaiming how he smelled nothing. Same goes for the chamber too--you have to use it alot to really get a strong smell in there. Again, the q-tip and alcohol will take care of this no problem.
It Keeps Going and...One thing you'll realize you love about your FlowerMate Vapormax V after spending some time with it is, well--just how much time you can spend with it. Each vaping session lasts for 10 minutes--and on a full charge, you can get around 17 complete sessions. That's over 2.5 hours of vaping on a full charge. Impressive.
Stylish and StealthyThe last benefit we haven't really touched on is just how cool the device looks. Obviously, its performance is most important. But with that out of the way, let's talk about its appearance.
No lie--when I first showed my friends, they were confused why I was so excited. Of course they were--they didn't realize I was showing them the latest portable vaporizer! It looks more like a cross between a cell phone and audio recorder than your latest personal vaporizer. Clearly, that's the point. Keeping with the stealthy theme, FlowerMate also made sure to hide the components that give the device away. The mouthpiece has a hidden compartent, and so does the heating chamber for your herbs. Seriously, you will feel like the 007 of vaping every time you use this device.
Oven style heating chamber
A hidden compartent to vaporize herbs--the bottom has the same stealthy storage for the mouthpiece.
The DrawbackOf course, no device is perfect. The Vapormax V comes close, but its primary fault is the lack of temperature settings for the heating chamber. The Pax and DaVinci let you crank up the heat to produce thicker clouds of vapor (sometimes bordering combustion). However, FlowerMate decided to stick to their guns. To keep 100% vapor, they have left the temperature set at a mid-to-low level temperature. You get pure vapor, but it's clear that some people don't mind a little combustion, so not having the option to turn up the temperature was a little disappointing.
ConclusionAll in all, the positives overshadow the negatives. It vapes with ease. It's easy to clean. It's super discreet, and it's more affordable than its competition. The Vapormax V by FlowerMate has the Vape Vet seal of approval.
